Kim Nichols (McAdam) specialises in authentic, traditional
Japanese of all kinds – both planted gardens (of which there
are many different sub-styles such as the tea garden or ‘roji’)
and the minimalist ‘karesansui’ or ‘Zen’
gardens. Oriental and Balinese gardens are part of her portfolio.
She also takes on more eclectic, contemporary projects and general
landscaping.

Consultation
& Design:
Detailed hand-drawn designs, to scale,
are prepared for each individual garden and client. A
design fee (minimum R800), based on the size and complexity
of the project, is charged upfront. This fee is deducted
should the client decide to place an order. Professionally
presented comprehensive quotations.

& Implementation of Designs:
High level of
personal service and attention to detail. Project management
from inception to completion. Dedicated skilled teams

Ornamentation
& Water Features:
Sourcing and supply of all garden ornamentation
(specializing in Japanese and oriental) - both locally
produced (solid concrete or sandstone) and fully imported
(hand-carved out of solid grey granite, sandstone or volcanic
‘lava’ rock). Wide range of lanterns, pagodas,
benches, Buddha’s, Japanese water pots (tsukubai
& chozubachi), water features, stupa’s, temple
lions, Fu Dogs, bridges, Xi'an warriors, stepping stones,
wall plaques and much more.

Sourcing and supply of all Japanese and other landscaping
materials (Rocks, stone, pebbles, gravel, trellises, pots,

As far as possible we try to accommodate our clients’
needs. When it can’t be found in the shops or you
want something totally unique, we can have it custom made
for you out of metal, wrought iron, wood, hand-carved stone
and other materials.

Expert on call for pruning, shaping, re-potting, gardener/client training and any other bonsai associated services on site. Sourcing and supply of bonsai pots and other bonsai accessories/tools. Artificial / silk bonsai available for those who don?t have green fingers! Corporate rental of bonsai.

Wall Murals & Paint Techniques:
Beautiful scenery, ‘trompe l’oeil’ / illusion
paintings, murals and decorative paint effects expertly
painted on walls – outdoors and indoors. You name
it and these incredibly talented artists, including the
amazing Shane Turner, can create it! Exquisite custom kids
rooms. Portraits and canvasses also undertaken. Jillian
